From Darkness Into The Light

The release of the second book.

The second book is now available to download digitally from the shop. It has been two years since my first literary explosion. “From Darkness Into The Light” continues where we left off, but it can be enjoyed on its own without reading the first book. The title was changed during the editing stage to reflect a new level of maturity. Much of the low-brow humour has been substituted with a more serious outlook. This may disappoint those that appreciate the ribaldry depicted on seaside postcards. That being said, I can tell that you’re a more discerning type and not into that sort of thing. I must confess that it was difficult to show restraint at times. Even now, I’m fighting back the urge to throw in a cheeky pun, salacious story or saucy innuendo. We are who we are. It’s best to accept our own flaws and love ourselves just the same; even when we’re in the middle of vehemently hating ourselves, crying our eyes out, surrounded by crinkly tissues and shame. Emotional releases are tough sometimes, aren’t they?

And that’s what this story is about, discovering the great mystery that surrounds us; making the unconscious conscious. Healing from trauma and the wounds that have been inflicted upon us. It’s not a solo adventure, far from it. It’s an ensemble piece and I’m a member of your cast and crew just as much as you’re a member of mine. “We’re all in this together”.

I’m sure that’s what those on the lifeboats said when the Titanic sank, as they watched their fellow passengers disappear under the icy Atlantic surf. Memories of Atlantis rekindled. Many of us are in that position again right now and, feeling pretty helpless, knowing that it has been an inside job all along. We’re doing the best we can with what we’ve been given. Our mission is to bring back the spiritual technologies that have been lost and put things in their rightful place. Rekindle the magic, in other words. It’s easier said than done, as we’re faced with ridicule, enmity and high treachery. Those same shadowy forces that cause catastrophe and chaos are at work. We’re the antidote to that, the calm in the eye of the storm. We are beacons of light in the darkness. It’s our time to shine.
