Avalon’s fabled lands, whispered in legend and resonating in the depths of our collective unconscious, are shrouded in the mists between worlds. They still exist beyond the veil, we just can’t see them because we’re out of phase. They are synonymous with the Arthurian legends, a mystical enclave of wizards, knights, witches, priestesses, and ancient Celtic wisdom. It represents a place where the physical and spiritual realms converge. Magic abounds on this plane. Merlin himself sensed at the end of his time on this segment of reality that humanity had abandoned its imagination in favour of focusing on the material, that which could be touched by our hands. Of course, he was an adept of the numinous and weird. He understood that words are spells that can be used as swords or as tools to heal. And so it still is today. The magic never went away really but those that were well versed in their potent energies retreated to climes more in keeping with their temperaments. Especially, those servants of the light – which is truth and wisdom – that sensed that a dark age was upon them. One where foolishness and ignorance would rule the day. However, we stand on a precipice looking down into the abyss from whence we came. We have clambered out of the darkness and emerged into the light. Now is the time to rekindle our abilities and recapture the magic that we had inside all along. Glastonbury is calling, the centre of the mystical land of Avalon. The ancient trees speak loudly there, they remind us that all is not lost – even amidst the doom and gloom of modern times – and we are about to embark on the greatest adventure of our lives. Are you ready to glimpse Avalon once again?
