Lemuria, also known as Mu, epitomises a lost spiritually-evolved paradise where harmony reigned, and humans lived in pure connection with the Divine and nature, their society allegedly destroyed by a cataclysm that could’ve been prevented with advancements in technology. They focused on going inward, traversing the inner universe astrally looking for truth, knowledge and beauty. However, they neglected to pay close attention to their external reality. This oversight is common in spiritual communities, whilst there is a nobility in tending our own internal gardens, we must also go forth into the world boldly. It’s not enough to simply be the change, we must do it too. Technological advancements must keep pace with spiritual progress if civilisations are to survive and thrive. Whilst the society of Lemuria was indeed beautiful, it stands as a tragic reminder to those that get lost in the spiritual world and is a call to us to embrace evolutions in technology when they appear.
